My professional domain is uniquely focused on culture in the widest sense. I work with museums, governmental, non-governmental, and private organisations to cultivate and maximise cultural assets and to develop human resources to run them effectively and sustainably by:
- Assessing organisations to ensure that people are aligned with their mission and strategy
- Identifying and agreeing priorities and find creative ways to address existing challenges that may be blocking progress and potential
- Conducting needs assessments, uncovering new opportunities to cultivate and maximise cultural assets
- Engaging people to evaluate knowledge and experience gaps; designing and implementing learning and development programs that can be replicated and facilitated locally to build capacity
- Conducting training and facilitating organisational learning programs through coaching, mentoring, workshops, and knowledge transfer
- Designing and implementing evaluations of existing programs, in addition to engaging and training people to carry out evaluations to help improve, expand, and sustain cultural programs.
