How aligned is your team with your mission? Leaders often under estimate the effort required to ensure that everyone is pulling in the same direction. I help organizations and individuals realise their full potential through validating strategy/mission, assessing organisational readiness for change and other human factors to identify areas for improvement, then help to implement changes as needed.
Do you have the right people in place? Do they have the right training and tools to be successful? When was the last time you considered your organisation structure in light of your strategic goals/mission? I conduct staffing reviews, validate job descriptions and selection methods; develop and implement performance management processes which re-enforce strategy and support organisational objectives. I help clarify learning and development priorities (for example in start ups, when goals have shifted or budgets are tight) through needs assessment, competency development and mapping, and by identifying the most cost effective mix of methodologies to achieve results.
Are you planning big changes? Everyone may understand the “change curve” but there is a difference between knowing and applying best practices. I have helped diverse organisations (large and small companies, museums and other cultural institutions) to identify what needs to be done then map out how to achieve results.
I utilise my broad experience with individuals, teams and organisations to build consensus on what needs to change, enable people to identify best approaches, prioritise actions, and implement programmes and behavioural changes to achieve goals. I work diligently to communicate and positively manage resistance through engagement and stakeholder mapping strategy.

“Planning before work protects you from regret” This concept is not exactly new, but it is worth mentioning. In fact, this quotation comes from the calligraphic inscription of a 10th-century plate mounted in the Metropolitan Museum’s Islamic galleries in New York. To all my client engagements, I bring and transfer professional PMI Project Management disciplines to plan and organise initiatives (project definition/scoping, project launch meeting, stakeholder management, risk management, change control, project close out and lessons learned) to ensure objectives are met on time, within budget and to a high standard.
I have also helped many organisations improve their performance by assessing project management maturity, identifying opportunities, selecting appropriate project management tools and coaching teams and project sponsors to apply project management disciplines with positive results.
